Events / IT Project Manager-Finance Domain
JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Manage the Demand Plan so that it accurately reflects current and planned company workload as requested by clients and by the company itself.
· Ensure the project repository is kept up-to-date with all committed, provisionally committed and forecast work.
· Ensure that the staff skills repository is kept up-to-date.
· Ensure effective communication with customers through the appropriate Account Managers, in prioritizing work and resolving conflicts.
· Manage and escalate resource and project conflicts in line with business priorities.
· Ensure that necessary actions are taken to balance supply and demand.
· Responsible for progress control, progress reporting, risks and issues management, quality management, and resource management (human, financial and technical) throughout the entire project lifecycle.
· Feasibility Study - develop and produce a comprehensive Feasibility Study document with sufficient depth of information for the client to make a decision on whether to proceed, and to determine impact on existing SLAs and OLAs.
· Liaise with Operations Planning Team to staff project work.
· Planning - Create a detailed workplan for implementation of the project.
· Managing Implementation - the transition from development to production environment through documented or agreed operational testing procedures.
· Ensure that the client and the Commercial services are made aware of the operational cost caused by the changed or new service.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience and Technical
· At least 12 years in IT in a large organization, including at least 5 years experience of leading and delivering application development projects.
· Must be proficient in the use of project management tools and must have detailed knowledge of the Project Lifecycle.
· Experience and skill of process building and process enhancement.
· Ability to discuss and communicate in English and Japanese.
